Letech’s mining services combines the mining and civil construction expertise of mining engineering. We aim at serving the mining industry as a leading mining operational analyst and equipment provider specializing in the delivery of world-class operational and operator proficiency to international mining companies and contractors. The company is structured with organizational capability and capacity to conduct mining operations on any scale, in any jurisdiction and for any resource type and mining method.

Drawing on years of industry experience and expertise, Our partners have identified several common deficiencies in mining operations and contractor operating practices that contribute significantly to the low utilization of resources and capital assets. We partners with clients to address these deficiencies so that they no longer are subject to increasing costs, diminishing returns but instead enjoy the benefits of a highly proficient and efficient operation.

Letech and partners have successfully developed new mining technologies commonly known as InMotion and Production Loss calculator. Although these technologies may be used separately, for the purposes of this proposal, both will be referred as ‘InMotion’.

InMotion technology is a first in-mining operational innovation and efficiency development. No other technology is advanced enough to successfully identify operational deficiencies and estimate the knock-on impact on the operating methods and functions of a mine and contracting operations with such undeniable accuracy. In addition to accuracy, the technology also works in real time, providing management, technical, supervision and operations personnel with real time information on how to correct deficient methods. Those operations that adopt InMotion technology benefit from immediate, marked improvements to safety, efficiencies, and productivity.

In partnership with world leading training and simulation integration providers, Letech has developed these monitoring technologies into real time mine operations management tools. This will allow the process of analyzing, recording and reporting of operational data to occur with acute accuracy and complete automation. This new technology will have the capability to record and analyze every task with precision and accuracy, whilst also providing play-back functionality for repeated analysis and the provision of operator training and development.

The combined use of Letech capabilities and InMotion technologies with operational improvement tools (such as high-fidelity simulators) is known as the Mining Optimization Centre (MOC).

The MOC also has potential for further development – eventually enabling large mining equipment (including hydraulic and electric excavators/shovels) to operate remotely. Combining this new innovative technology InMotion, with Letech’s Operational Efficiency Development Centre of Excellence, Letech reaffirms its position as industry leader in efficiency and proficiency training, materials, and delivery.

In recognition of the potential for highly proficient and efficient mining and of the positive impact on the industry, we have appointed senior and highly qualified personnel from the mining and contracting industry to establish manage a division dedicated to mining service. This division operates as Letech Mining.

Operations

Letech is equipped with capabilities for conducting own mining operations across multiple resource types and mining methods. Letech is also equipped to compete for contract mining opportunities. Contract mining involves the mine owner engaging the services of a specialist contractor to undertake the mining of its resources, and any other related mining activities, with the provision of dedicated and highly qualified staff. Regardless of the owner/contractor situation, Letech Mining concentrates entirely on the economies and efficiencies in the mining process, allowing mine stakeholders and shareholders to focus on other aspects of their business, such as exploration, land acquisition, marketing, and sales.

We understand the fundamental principles of selective mining including pit excavation, drill and blast, ore scheduling and grade control for Chrome and Platinum mines as well as bulk overburden removal and product winning for open-cut coal and iron ore mining. Our aim is to work diligently at the client mine sites during the project feasibility stage and offer planning, budget estimating and project packaging services.

We continually work to improve operating efficiency, through leading-edge mining technology, efficient maintenance systems, proficiency skills training and development of personnel using the most advanced mining training systems available and complimented by the InMotion technologies.

Through established relationships with major mining equipment manufacturers and suppliers and the support they can provide, Letech Mining will have the ability to update equipment on a regular basis, allowing operations to operate at optimum efficiency at all times.

These relationships will allow Letech Mining to respond quickly and efficiently to situations that may require additional plant and resources. One of the key benefits of developing such relationships with major OEMs and suppliers is the ability to access their extensive international network of suppliers and regional support staff, allowing Letech Mining to minimize response times.
